People got banned from them for voicing any opinions not aligned with US gov stance, science was settled, luckily for americans their government is forbidden from doing such thing, at least in theory, no such laws in EU. Well at least people now can discuss these things without worrying about getting banned, if you consider that a bad thing… Yeah maybe random group of unelected flaggers being in control of what can be said on sfos forum is a good thing???

Of course corporations shouldn’t control your speech, just like governments, if it doesn’t break TOS people should be free to discuss freely, but WT.Sane jumps in with ‘but muh covid conspiracy theorists’, well funnily they were right and they got banned from these platforms due to US gov pressure even when saying factual things (while govs were pushing disinformation like vaxxed ppl don’t spread covid bs, get vaxxed, get a passport and you will be allowed to go back into pubs like a good boi)

I support free speech as long it is based on facts and doesn’t unnecessarily attack anyone. Most importantly this forum is about SailfishOS, Jolla, linux phones and things related to these. I think it is good that this forum is moderated and out of line comments are hided. I like this community as the conversation is generally productive, people help each other and get change to learn something new. I don’t want to come on this platform to read propaganda or about things that don’t even remotely relate to topics this forum is for. People who want to discuss about those things have multiple other platforms to do so.
