Is it possible to setup working adhoc connection?
I need this for a WiFi OBD reader.
I suppose you have some android app for diag?

TL;DR: connman does not support it but you may be able to set it up manually from the CLI.
I haven’t tried in a while, but it did work once on the J1.
Being an Indiana Jones of the ancient technology, out of curiosity, I have a good old Nokia 700 (among others), and tried to set it up as a wi-fi hot-spot for my Xperia 10iii. Both symbian apps I use (Joikuspot and ezSpot) use adhoc Wi-Fi, if I’m not mistaken.
Does anybody know if I can setup my Xperia 10iii to connect to such a network?
Same answer as above.
Maybe the Wifi chip can, but there is no GUI for it.
It would be lovely to hear from someone who succeeded with this.
I’m partial to various ‘Freifunk’ type networks which often use Ad-Hoc plus some mesh routing protocol.
