This has been asked not that long ago and Jolla said that they don’t have hands on everything. If I remember correctly Jolla has stated that they could focus on that but they have prioritized ESR102 update over it. I think that is was decision and I hope they keep prioritizing the browser until they catch up the latest gecko engine.

So, C2 port is based on android 13, which same as ports based on a14 suffers from lack of camera recording. That is because sfos is using camera1 api and in a13 they removed video recording from camera1 api, because android moved to camera 2 api long time ago. @mal a jolla employee and legend of a dude was working on camera2 api and he got pictures to work and almost recording, just recorded videos weren’t able to be played back. So the work is nearly there but he also didn’t have time to finish camera2 api. If he, or someone from community, finishes the camera2 api, we’ll have video recording on c2, pipa,

On C2 i can choose CameraAPI2 in Opencamera and record Videos, so does that mean its already there, at least inside Android App Support?
