DESCRIPTION:

I have an iCloud account where I have all of my contacts and calendar everts. I can’t access them from my phone.

PRECONDITIONS:

idk

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Select generic account in the accounts settings.
  2. Fill the required informations.
  3. Try to log in.

EXPECTED RESULT:

Being able to sync to iCloud.

ACTUAL RESULT:

Unable to connect to iCloud

I found a solution on the old forum, doesn’t work to me.

Could you please add which server settings you enter, and which DAV paths?

I don’t have an icloud account to test but for cards, does this work?

Also you likely need to create an application-specific password in iCloud, according to e.g. this

The solution I linked is basically the same as the one on that site and it didn’t work to me.
The link format isn’t working either.
I tried that link format. It doesn’t give me an error message at least. But it stuck at “creating account”.

@usbee Did you manage to get CalDAV / CardDAV working eventually? I succeeded in configuring CalDAV (calendar) but CardDAV (contacts) gives me an headache. I tried contacts.icloud.com and the solution provided by @nephros combined with an app-specific password for iCloud but not success. Authentication fails because of a /.well-known issue.

Can’t figure out if I’m doing something wrong or it is an issue with the CardDAV implementation of Sailfish. CardDAV / CalDAV implementation of iCloud is not documented at all by Apple.

Anyone got CalDAV / CardDAV with iCloud working?

Hi! I no longer use SFOS for a while, so I don’t know if it’s any better since then.
