[C2] Strange vibration patterns

REPRODUCIBILITY: 50% (sometimes)
OSVERSION: 5.0.0.43
HARDWARE: Reeder S19 Max Pro S - s19mps - s19mps - 1.0.0.30 - aarch64
UI LANGUAGE: Français (user: fr_FR, os: fr_FR.utf8)
REGRESSION: yes (since: 5.0.0.21 - aarch64)

DESCRIPTION:

On the C2, since the 5.0.0.43 update, when receiving a sms, vibration is continuous and lasts a few seconds.
Never seen with previous OS versions on the C2.
Probably related to the ngfd update.

PRECONDITIONS:

C2 with VoLTE activated

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Receive a sms on the C2

EXPECTED RESULTS:

Short vibrations

ACTUAL RESULTS:

Long & continuous vibration

MODIFICATIONS:

  • Patchmanager: no
  • OpenRepos: yes
  • Chum: yes
  • Other: none specified

It seems to be solved by a reboot.

This has just started happening on my C2, or at least I’ve just noticed it in the last week or so.
The vibration runs for 30 seconds or so, then I get the rest of the SMS notification (alert tone and on-screen)
Has occurred 3-4 times in the last week, twice today.
Other than being setup in English, and on a UK network, everything seems as per the above report.

I experienced this also but very rarely, another cosmetic-problem which jolla will fix in the future indeed
