Jolla C2 flashlight icon not working. The lamp/led itself seems to be ok because it flashes if I take picture. But the icon does have no effect.
Any ideas?
That’s odd, the flashlight is working for me. It takes a second to fire up but no issues otherwise 
I am also having problems with Camera/Flashlight which started after reflash with fastboot. Before that everything was working nicely. Because of that I tried reflashing twice. After first reflash the flashlight stopped completely working together with a camera autofocus. After second reflash I got different behaviour. It is only working only once after a reboot. I can run flashlight once and then if I try the camera app it is stuck on black screen. I also got camera black screen after entering camera app just after startup and switching lens.
Have you also been flashing your C2 with fastboot?
Yes. I used these instructions:
Everything went ok. No problems. Just this flashlight button does not work.
In fact if I push the icon it turns blue and showing ”on” about one second and the lamp figure again indicating the lamp should now be on. But nothing happens. No light.
Push again and the indicator shows ”off” and after one second it shows the flashlight figure again.
Thats all what happens.
What does CSD test says?
Try a fresh reboot, then launch the camera app once and make sure it can show a preview image.
Close it, and then try the flashlight button.
Done what you said. No effect. No flash. Camera flash works.

Could it be some kind of cam init failure?
Maybe. Or even hardware failure. Like connector.
In my case it behaves differently everytime I flash the phone. After third fastboot flashing only the front camera in working, csd test fails. All that happens while opencamera in AAS is working fine. I suspect something in software.
