DESCRIPTION:
When booting from scratch the pin input keyboard doesn’t work, switch off and on, input works.
PRECONDITIONS:
Phone fully switched off, fresh boot.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- switch on phone.
- try to put the pin.
- doesn’t respond.
- switch off by long press power button.
- switch on again.
- input pin works.
EXPECTED RESULT:
Pin should work first time when turning the phone on.
ACTUAL RESULT:
Having to switch the phone on twice.
MODIFICATIONS:
None besides updating to 5.0.0.21, out of the box experience.

Thanks for reporting. This is a known issue and there are several duplicates reports of this already.
This is a problem with C2 specifically, but luckily it’s a rare occurrence. There are two “variants” of this:
- wait for a few seconds and/or turn display off and on again → touch starts working
- above does not help → device power off and power on is needed
