Buying SFOS for Xperia X?

Is it still possible to buy SFOS for Xperia X to get the keyboard autocomplete and AppSupport, even though it is not supported anymore and won’t get any update ?

Yes, the license for legacy Sony Xperia™ devices for 24.90 should include the X model.

The corresponding page in the Jolla Shop (24.90 licence for “legacy devices”) only lists XA2, Xperia 10, 10 II and 10 III

Ah ok, I see why it was asked. Well I’d hope so. Seems the option to add predictive text alone should at least be available (it’s very well implemented on SFOS imo). Perhaps someone in the know can confirm.

According to documentation release 4.6 is the last supported release for Xperia X.

Yes, I saw that, and I know the device and SFOS won’t be supported.

But having predictive text and some android app support, would make the device a bit useful.

According to docs you can still install them. At least until 5.0 release. Which might (or not) happen in September.

I guess I need a license first before installing them.
Which is my question, how to buy the license because it’s not mentioned in the store.

Indeed. Not helpful.
I guess I would fill a support ticket. Still wish you a very good luck.

It was withdrawn on purpose so people would not buy it just for the X to never receive updates ever again and be disappointed.
I disagree that 10 year old Android App Support qualifies as useful.
