DESCRIPTION:

connecting to both a BLE device (like polar h10) and a BREDR device (like a2dp headphones) is impossible.

PRECONDITIONS:

this is about connections made in SFOS, but it only fails when android-bridge-bt is installed. remove the package, restart bluetooth, and it works.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. install android-bridge-bt
  2. restart bluetooth service
  3. connect to a BLE device (polar h10)
  4. attempt to connect to a BREDR device (headphones), fails repeatedly
  5. restart bluetooth service
  6. connect to a BREDR device
  7. attempt to connect to a BLE device, fails repeatedly

EXPECTED RESULT:

both connections work fine, as was the case in 5.2.0.18 and all previous versions since android-bridge-bt.

ACTUAL RESULT:

cannot get both at once, have to remove bridge.
