Bluetooth - Search for new devices on Jolla2026

On the Jolla Phone 2026 I have the problem that I am hardly able to search for new devices. I managed to search for new devices twice, pulling down the Bluetooth menu and selecting “Search for devices“. Then I saw a loading bar and a lot of devices around including my headphones.

BUT I was able only twice to see this bar and the not connected devices. Right now a connection to new devices is not possible.

Anyone an idea where the problem is?

Thanks a lot for your time and help

Hi! Have you tried to toggle the bluetooth OFF/ON? If that didn’t help then from settings at the bottom you can find section “Utilities”. From there you can restart the bluetooth. Hopefully one of these helps in your case

Good hint, thanks, I haven’t seen the utilities so far.

But still no loading bar or new devices. Something else is blocking the Bluetooth search

Is it so that you can’t pull down for the “Search for devices”?

Edit. Then I would just guess your bluetooth is turned off?

Bluetooth is activated, pull down menu is available but now available device nor this bar which indicates that a search is going on…

Have you rebooted the phone?

You will have to uninstall AppSupport Bluetooth Beta and reboot your phone for Bluetooth to start working again.

Hi,

Is AppSupport Bluetooth(beta) app still needed in version 5.2.0.22 on C2? Or are the capabilities included in that version? My phone needs an occational reboot to find bluetooth after version upgrade.

Uninstalling AppSupport Bluetooth Beta fixes the problem not completely. When the app is uninstalled I can search for Bluetooth devices and connect to my headphones without any problems.

But without the app Garmin Connect (Android app) moans that bluetooth is deactivated and a connection the watch isn’t possible anymore.

With the app installed Garmin Connect works fine but the headphones are not connecting anymore….(sic)
