Bluetooth doesn't turn on after update

OS version: 5.1.0.11

Language: English

Symptom:

After the update, Bluetooth no longer can be turned on in the UI neither in the quick settings nor in the settings.

Attempt to restart the bluetooth subsystem fails. Bluetooth so far is not usable at all.

The bluetooth service shows as active and running. → update: cannot be restarted and show not running

Update 3:
Another cold reboot seems to have solved it.
My understanding of the issue: the bridge cannot take exclusive ownership of hci0; another process still has the controller open even after bluetooth.service is stopped.

I’ll leave the report here for anyone experiencing similar.

For me it works just fine. Ive had difficulties to start it a couple times but settings-> utilities-> restart bluetooth subsystem has worked every time.
If you dont have utilities installed you can do it from Jolla store.

I have experienced the same several times, especially over night (can failed restore powersave be involved?) ( @hpehto Settings >Utilities > Bluetooth restart subsystem does definitely not work in my case. )
