Bluetooth Car connection does not take over contacts or "recently called"

DESCRIPTION:

when connecting to my car the contacts or recent calls are not available

PRECONDITIONS:

A car with bluetooth connection for mobile phones

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Connect with the car, switch to mobile phone there in the car computer.

EXPECTED RESULT:

contacts and recent calls are shown

ACTUAL RESULT:

plain empty

MODIFICATIONS:

none, out of the box

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

With my Xperia V the contact list did work but recent calls were only listed up until the phone was reconnected to the car, but not updated while using in the car - still, was better than nothing…

I suspect it might be related to the issue with the OBEX service. I experience very similar behaviour (contacts almost never show) with my Xperia 10 III and SFOS 5.1 in my Citroën C5. Restarting the OBEX service sometimes helps, but unfortunately I can’t say that it always works. This is what I run as the default user with regular privileges. Can you try if it improves anything with your situation? systemctl restart --user obex.service
