Today I got blocked to post with a popup saying ‘basic user only handful of posts allowed, wait for few hours’.
This is not encouraging, nor fu
Please disable this or take over karma or online time or whatever of TJC!
This happens when you transfer from one platform to another. The more you read, like, and comment on other threads, the bigger the trust level will be allowing you to post more often etc. It’s just an inconvenient for now, but it’ll be better.

Without restrictions like this the forum will soon be full of spam bots, I remember the forum I used to admin Symbian-Developers suffered massively until we placed posting restrictions on new accounts.
they still could transfer the Karma from tjc to ease the inconvinience.
which probably would be a major inconvenience for the admins… Active users will have “member” status within a 15 days anyway. I guess that’s a good period to get acquainted with the new forum.
