Better/bigger charging display and estimate how long until 100%

On my previous phone (Samsung Galaxy S21) I have this always on display feature that shows percentage and an estimate of how long charging will take, which only turns on when charging. And on the lock screen it shows a really big and clear indicator of the same things.

I wish SFOS had something similar. At least the lock screen could have a full screen widget like that. As it is, it’s a bit unclear if it’s even charging or not, and there’s no indication if it’s fast or slow or whatever.

Not sure if something like this exists yet, but in the mean time, you can use SystemDataScope and Battery Buddy which can give many infos about battery/charging and help to estimate things.
The notification LED also tells if it is charging on charged.

In addition to the time estimate, a “Charging rapidly” vs “Charging slowly” like on Android would be nice (aka fast charge in use or not).

Does it? My J2 shows red when it is on low battery and charging, then turns yellow when it gets past the low battery percentage. But for me it never shows what I would expect to be green when it reaches higher percentages. Even when I charge my battery to 100%, it still shows only yellow. Is it intended to turn green?

Cannot tell for JP2601.

Jolla decided to have the LED steady white during charging. And then blinking white when 100%.

And the charging LED thing is one of my first tweaks every time.

I always tweak me to show me an amber blink during charge and a steady green on 100% (N900 ).

@Apostle For you it might be you have the default “charge only to 90%” and never reach the full state?

I see! Also, I guess white is the intended LED colour on the JP2601. And no, I have in fact changed the default value so that I can charge to 100%. I figured that if the battery is user-replaceable, I can just use it as I would any phone and replace it when it gets bad.

Last year I created 2 patches (LPM Mode and Bigger Fonts…). In the first you can activate a Batterysymbol on LPM Screen and zoom it and in the 2. you can change the battery symbol. Please look the screenshots in webcataloge. Maybe its interesting for this wish… But I have only installed SFOS5.1.0.11 and can not test it at 5.2…
