I’m very new to Sailfish and have been trying to install .apk files will no success. For example, I went to DuckDuckGo and downloaded the .apk file from their website then tapped on the file and nothing seems to happen. Or once I tried installing a .apk file and no icon showed up on the Home Screen but it said it was installed…where?
I did select Android support at start up and also allowed unknown third party app installation, what am I doing wrong? I first try to so directly to the source for these files rather than using sites like F-Droid if possible too. Thanks.
