From what it’s worth i have microg and beacondb installed on my xa2, it definitely helped me, in the sense that now gps is connecting all the times while before he had lots of troubles, but still, it’s a very long process and gps can take also 15 minutes to connect
One thing i observed is that from when i installed beacondb, despite the long time to get fix, it’s connecting to more satellites and with a better strenght, or at least that’s my impression
Just my two cents on the matter, i hope situation will get better when beacondb will officially be released by jolla
