Since I can’t find the energy to finish the app for public usage I’ve put the sources for controlling my thermostat from my phone online here: aerique/rehapi: A CLI tool to access the Remeha (Home?) API. - Codeberg.org
Since I’ve got only one zone and appliance to manage the app just picks the first from list in the JSON blob returned by the API. For an app released for public usage it would need (at least) a dropdown to select appliances and zones and to remember that selection.
So just putting this out here, maybe it’s useful for someone else.
Also check Home Assistant (HA) and the Sailfish OS app for HA first if you just need to control your Remeha appliance, that will probably be more useful.
