DESCRIPTION:

when trying to send an audio message in an android app, the sounds is record in slow motion and kind of robotic

PRECONDITIONS:

record an audio in an Android app. Never happen before in 3.4

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. record an audio in a message Android app
  2. the voice is in slow motion and robotic

EXPECTED RESULT:

that the sound record is heard normal.

ACTUAL RESULT:

the sounds record is in slow motion and robotic

The same regression/problem here with a Xperia 10!
Does someone else have this? Can this be upvoted?

Same issue on Sony Xperia XA2+ with SFOS 4.0.1.48

I have the same problem with my Sony Xperia 10 Plus Dual SIM, with SFOS 4.0.1.48
But by now only in Threema, WhatsApp/Telegram/Instagram are working…

This is basically a duplicate of this: Sailfish OS 4.0.1.45 Signal Messenger voice message is consumed and sounds robotic
Although this is more generic in the description which is more accurate, actually. XA2 devices seem be affected the most.

Issue fixed in 4.1.0 for Telegram.
