A small explanation: I locked permanently my phone (Xperia 10 III); for previous reasons, I had to change the USB module inside, because I would not get a blue light (fastboot mode), necessary to get into recovery mode, needed to then release phone from “permanent lock”.
Now, I finally got the piece, I have a blue light, and also a shiver down my spine: I think I updated my phone to 5.1 when it came out but I am not sure. Is there a way to read the OS version anywhere from Recovery (or through the telnet shell maybe?). That info as most of you know is needed to download the correct hybris-recovery image.
I feel quite confident, because 5.1 is the version that treats mobile data as wifi in AppSupport, and I remember trying that (GREAT update element, in my experience). But, since the issue came up, I was wondering nevertheless.
