Hi, becasue of the latest update (5.1.0.11) I had to delete Angelfish due to space constraints on root. After I updated, now when I try to reinstall it it gives me this error
Would I be fine picking solution 2 or should I try to fix it somehow?
I assume its because of some dependencies that updated in the new sailfish update?
Thank you for any help :downcast_face_with_sweat:

:Update:
After some digging I found an rpm with the name of the missing dependency but Ive also read somewhere on the forum that just downloading and installing rpms arent a good safe way to do it on sailfish. Neither Zypper nor Pkcon has it in my installed repositories

Downloading and installing software from random sites isn’t a smart thing to do on any OS.

Are you using the piggz repos for Qt6? There aren’t any Qt6 builds for 5.1 on Chum yet.

See the other Angelfish thread for details.

Yes that is true, that wad all I needed to know, then I know its not something on my end

Sorry, the search is pretty bad on the forum app, could you link to the other tread?

@piggz had replied that the required scratchbox changes were expected in 5.1 How is Angelfish currently? - #99 by poetaster
Which does not mean they have made it yet.

and i believe they wont even make 5.2

Sorry Im not a developer, but that sounds like we wont see it working until at least 5.2, if even then?

It means you won’t get a working version of any Qt6 application from Chum until that “sb2 issue” is resolved. That may be in 5.2, or later, or never happen. We don’t know.

You will have to use (even) less “official” repos, like the piggz one, in the mean time.

And while the volunteer developers and maintainers of this repo try to make responsible choices that will not brick your device (hopefully), you are in *development/alpha/untested" waters if you do.
No guarantees are made of any kind, and “What you get is what you get”.

Do you mean these ones?:
piggz-qt6-apps - Index of /obs/home:/piggz:/qt6apps/sailfish_latest_aarch64
piggz-qt6sb2 - Index of /obs/home:/piggz:/qt6sb2/sailfish_latest_aarch64

the issue with libicu.. libraries in version 70 is applicable for Nephrorer Explorer as well? Looks like the packages must be rebuilt against 5.1.0.11 target.
Fatal error: nothing provides 'libicui18n.so.70()(64bit)' needed by the to be installed libWPEWebKit-2_0-1-2.44.4-1.76.1.bso.aarch64

Nephrorer Explorer

Lol thanks! Made my day already

[EDIT:] should be fixed now. I have rebuilt the old WebKit version.
