Android Chrome: insta-exits on start, any ideas why?

Firefox for Android works fine, but Chrome consistently fails to start up. White screen for 0.5 sec, then exits.

I have MicroG installed, all self-check checkmarks pass. Most Android apps work fine, other than consistently failing to access Location Services.

For everybody successfully running Chrome on XA2 aliendalvik, is there anything special that needs to be done?

Mine works fine. Try cleaning the cache, then removing app data, then uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome.

After updating to MicroG 0.2.17.204714, Chrome started to work!

Debugging aliendalvik lxc revelead the problem was related to some misconfiguration or implementation of com.google.android.gms.googlecertificates certificate store.
