Since I didn’t find anything when searching:
Using my Xperia10 V now with Android AppSupport and I am very positively surprised how well everything works so far.

However, I stumbled across a minor issue.
I’d like to use “Titanium Backup” to restore some backup I made on my old Android device. But it complains about not having root rights.
Unfortunately I didn’t find much about this topic. How to grant it the rights or is this some sort of restriction caused by the layers ow w/e?
I won’t die if not possible, but would make transferring some stuff way more easy.

Another small question, is there a way to delete apps data (aka resetting it) other than uninstalling and reinstalling? Not really important, but curious.

At least to that question, I have an answer. Yes, it is possible. You can go into Settings → Apps → The app you want to reset. Then, there is this button “Delete data” (or something like that, in your language). Clicking this button will clear all data of the app an reset it as it was right after a fresh install

lol, that was to obvious it seems…I plain didn’t expect the android to be managed the same way.
So only the root question remains :slight_smile:
