This is a known issue currently, and if I understood correctly, it has something to do with the MFA/App Password failing and the email not falling back to basic authentication (or something like that, I’m not a developer, so information may or may not be completely accurate 
). Here’s another thread about it and @Keto mentioned, that a fix would land on 5.2.
