After deleting a phone number in a contact Fruux, the deleted phone number is restored

DESCRIPTION:

Delete the second phone number in Fruux contact. After synchronizing the Fruux account, the deleted phone number is restored.

PRECONDITIONS:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Add a second phone number to Fruux contact.
  2. Synchronize your Fruux account.
  3. Delete the second phone number in Fruux contact.
  4. Synchronize your Fruux account.

EXPECTED RESULT:

The deleted phone number should not be restored.

ACTUAL RESULT:

The deleted phone number is restored.

Can’t tell, the contacts don’t sync for the moment on my side. Maybe @pvs can tell more.

This bug is present. OS VERSION: 4.5.0.19

The bug is confirmed by a second user here and I just deleted a phone number from a contact today and after a sync it is back.

  • have a contact with three numbers in the synced address book
  • delete one phone number from the contact in the SFOS address book on the phone
  • go into settings/accounts and force a sync
  • check the contact and the phone number is back in

Sync is set to “Sync device changes automatically”. It does work perfectly two-way for the calendar events.
