After update, the Phone is not sending messages via SMS anymore.
Provider is O2/Germany
Is VoLTE enabled in settings?
If so please try at disable this at first.
Can’t reproduce in Lebara/UK, so definitely not a widespread bug.
Check this issue, VoLTE provider support. Looks like a configuration issue for a particular provider rather a bug.
VoLTE is disabled. That does never work.
But now, after update, SMS does not working anymore.

Same SMS desaster on my Xperia 10 III, Tampella 5.0.0.55. Sending under “normal conditions” not possible. Was driving me crazy. The above explained workaround, VoLTE OFF and 2G, works.
Just did the upgrade to 5.0.0.61. Now I can send SMS via 4G again.
But with VoLTE it’s still not working.
