REPRODUCIBILITY: Seen on two different phones. Seems to require being on a (video) call.
OS VERSION: 4.5.0.24 and probalby since 3.x
HARDWARE: 10 iii & XA2
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: No, old problem.
DESCRIPTION:
Someone called me on WhatsApp. Whilst trying to look at messages via the left-pointing arrow in the top left corner, WhatsApp blanked the screen. It did this around 5x in a row.
I tried to sneak my finger in avoiding the proximity detector and eventually managed it.
Needless to say, this bug is super annoying. The only times the screen should be blanked is when the proximity detector isn’t activated.
It’s like the detector output gets inverted.
