[4.5.0.16] Long text in bubbles get off-screen in Telegram

REPRODUCIBILITY: Always when app is opened the first time after reboot
OS VERSION: 4.5.0.16
HARDWARE: X10 III
UI LANGUAGE: Swedish
REGRESSION: Did not happen on 4.4.0.72

DESCRIPTION:

When opening Telegram android app for the first time after reboot the long texts in conversation bubbles go over screen (text wrapping/setting to rows do not work).
This happens if telephone is tilted to landscape mode after reboot.
Tilting phone again seems to fix it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Start up phone, open Telegram app
  2. Tilt phone to landscape mode → text jumps off-screen
  3. Tilt again and text wraps again.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Telegram version 9.3.3

It did reappear also without a reboot. I don’t know what really triggered the bubbles again to run off from screen. I just received a message and took phone and there it was again.

(And got fixed again when tilting phone again)

How it came up now when I received a message to SFOS News Network:

How it looks like after tilting phone to landscape and back:

With Telegram 9.5.8 on my X10 III I was on unable to reproduce this bug.

@lumen can you still reproduce this?

I have more or less quit using Telegram and then when I use rarely I’m using Fernschreiber.
But now, quickly tested so I seem to not be able to reproduce anymore… Would need to try more extensively though I guess…
