[4.4.0.58] Launching jolla apps don't work after update

DESCRIPTION:

After updating the OS I can’t launch the jolla apps by clicking (android apps work normally). We found out that somehow the system cannot open the permission request window. Launching the app via devel-su -p jolla-calendar works.

There are other problems: networḱ connection via ssh doesn’t work too

Starting the app via CLI “/usr/bin/sailjail -p jolla-calendar.desktop /usr/bin/jolla-calendar” and I got the following message:

…daemon.sailjailclient.c:621: client_prompt_permissions(): E: org.sailfishos.saijaildl.PromptLaunchPermissions(jolla-calendar): failed: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AuthFailed: Not allowed

I like to add: After updating the jolla apps worked fine. Some jolla apps (email, calendar …) had been updated via jolla store and after that I got the behaviour as described above.

Were you able to take a look into /var/log/systemupdate.log for errors?

The following message appears a lot:

… sailfishXA2 kernel: binder: 6757:6757 0:0 transaction failed 29189/0, size 32-0 line 2149

I think it wouldn’t hurt to ensure the update was completed.
Jolla has an article about that: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205601317#2

Or you can try with sfos-upgrade | OpenRepos.net — Community Repository System
