DESCRIPTION:
The trick to getting the Xperia X’s camera to only focus with a half-press of the shutter button, as mentioned on [Xperia X] Camera autofocus or picture sharpness seems non-optimal - together.jolla.com, no longer seems to work. In fact, neither of the two tricks mentioned there seem to work anymore. The camera always autofocuses and half-pressing the shutter button does nothing. This appears to be a regression in 4.2, as it was still working well on 4.0 and 4.1.
In the meantime, until the bug is fixed: did anything change in the way the camera interprets the configuration files? Does anyone know a workaround to make the shutter button half-press into a functional manual focus again?
