at this stage I’ve tried android 10, 11 and 12 using Emma and flashtool/xperifirm and a rom from xda. Best result was 10, no random whooping noises but no audio either. I’ll just have to give it to an android user…pity, it’s a nice size.

Bumping this to state for the record that I’m having what appears to be the same problem with the dual-sim version, both on 4.6 and after upgrading to 5.0. Like the above commenter, I also tried reverting and reflashing with Android 10, 11 and 12, but there’s absolutely no audio at any point. I suppose some individual Xperia 10-ii phones just randomly happen to be incompatible with SFOS, then?
