[4.0.1.x] Unable to select SIM card before placing a call via call history

BUILD ID = OS VERSION (Settings > About product): 4.0.1.48
HARDWARE (XA2, Xperia 10…): XA2 (dual SIM)
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: (compared to previous public release: Yes, No, ?): Yes

DESCRIPTION:

The SIM selection menu that gets displayed before placing a call disappears too quickly making it impossible to select the SIM card to use.

PRECONDITIONS:

Dual SIM phone

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Go to Settings > SIM Cards > Use SIM card (Calls and messages)
  2. Select “Always Ask”
  3. Go to the call history and select any item from that list
  4. A menu shows up below the selected item to choose which SIM to use

EXPECTED RESULT:

The menu should stay displayed until the user selects the SIM card

ACTUAL RESULT:

The menu gets displayed for 0.5sec at best making it impossible to select a SIM card

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

When selecting a contact from the Contacts App instead of the Call History, the SIM selection menu gets displayed and doesn’t disappear.

Have the same issue on my XA2 Plus. Impossible to chose Sim. Restart or change in SIM -Settings does not help neither.
Has anyone an idea how to solve the problem ?

Same issue here with: XA2 Plus dual sim, both active.

The same here - Xperia X dual SIM.

Same on X10 and X10plus.
Please do something asap Jolla, this is a total break, makes it almost unusable.

Duplicate: [4.0.1.45][XA2 plus dual sim] - sim not selectable

We have a bug report about this issue.
