[4.0.1.45][XA2] Switching users resets disabled Calendar list in Outlook account

REPRODUCIBILITY (% or how often): 100%
BUILD ID = OS VERSION (Settings > About product): 4.0.1.45
HARDWARE (Jolla1, Tablet, XA2,…): XA2
UI LANGUAGE: English
REGRESSION: (compared to previous public release: Yes, No, ?): Not sure.

DESCRIPTION:

Switching to Guest user and reverting back to the main user(nemo user) resets the calenders which were disabled in Outlook Calendar and events from the disabled calendar is shown.

PRECONDITIONS:

Have an Outlook account with multiple calenders(Normal and Birthday in my case)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Disable a Calender(ex: Birthdays) in outlook
  2. Switch to Guest user
  3. Switch back to Admin user
  4. Open Calenders to see all calenders from Outlook getting enabled

EXPECTED RESULT:

Disabled calendar for a user to get persisted even during user change

ACTUAL RESULT:

The disabled calendar should be honoured during user switch

PS: Not sure whether it’s a bug or should be raised as a feature request.

Thank you for the post. We have created a bug report for this. Just to clarify, is this a Microsoft Exchange account you are referring to?

@jiit It’s a personal Outlook(@outlook.com) account with which I tried.

Also Disabled calender is getting reset during restarts too
