Would you recommend XA2 as of 2023?

Until I experienced it on my old XA2+ I expected, that SFOS should be by far snappier than Android, since Android’s Java layer slows down execution. However, it turns out that it’s just the other way round. I cannot say what slows down execution of Apps in SFOS.

Beyond any explanation: /e/OS (Android) runs much smoother on my (old) phone.
I wish it was the other way round.

I feel SFOS fast only on my recently bought 10 III… On Jolla 1, Xperia 10 and XA2 experienced slowness, lag and yes… feeling that the phone couldn’t handle all

I hope you are not talking about the Android apps on SailfishOS, those will always have way less performance than the native SailfishOS apps.
