You want to reset Whisperfish
rm -rf ~/.local/share/harbour-whisperfish ~/.config/harbour-whisperfish ~/.local/share/be.rubdos/harbour-whisperfish ~/.config/be.rubdos/harbour-whisperfish
I have a problem as well. Occasionally, I have to make video calls using Signal. I therefore want to use AAS with Signal as my primary device and link Whisperfish as a secondary device. I therefore made a screenshot of Whisperfish’s qr-code and opened it on my laptop. Unfortunately, the android app accepts the code but doesn’t actually link Whisperfish, which in turn give me the “Failed to setup…” error. I then have to start all over again. I had to move my primary Signal device back to an old android phone to link Whisperfish. No video calls for me from my SFOS device…
Any ideas asides from:
In order to use a secondary registration, you will need to transfer the generated QR code to Signal-Android. You may do this through photographing or printing or screenshotting.
