I don’t want to get too technical, but is not the “lack of ability to understand” precisely one of the definitions of stupidity 
But, as also mentioned before, I don’t really care abut personal attacks, in DMs or otherwise. It’s the internet, after all, so one has to have a thick skin to survive.
