What about a Liberapay SFOS community team -> we have it now!

Thanks for the concern, but I don’t think I qualify as a developer, after a couple of recompilations of other people’s work and a bunch of ambiences.

If you still do that I think you do qualify.

Also, you are one of the most active translators.

You commit, you contribute, you deserve

And look, you’re even invited.

Grand idea. And thanks for inviting me. Programming apps for this community (and for me!) just for fun is great for me. So please donate the money around the group. Or buy me some beer here in Bremen.

Thanks for the kind words guys, and for the invite!

I’m proud and honored to accept. My preferred nick name (eson) was taken so…

I just stumbled over this. And joined the donor’s club. Wouldn’t it make sense to make this thread sticky?

Well, that’s actually me :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thank you again for the invite.

But I suggest you reconsider the invite, since SkippingStones hasn’t been updated in years, what I guess qualified me was Hunger Meter ( aarch64 build ) | OpenRepos.net — Community Repository System .
As stated in the description all I did there was rpmbuild of @miska ‘s ( hopefully same user ) code and upload, all credit should go to him.

Other topics:
How to contact openrepos users :

  • you need to be logged into your openrepos profile
  • open the user’s profile, most of them have a contact link ( see picture )

Also I suggest that you consider inviting lkraav for his work on getting Google Play Services on Xperia 10 III Sailfish 4.4.0.64 (now 5.0.0.76) working, while it makes no sense to publish as rpm.

You point out that we might confuse things between 2 platforms. This suggests a new step in applications : the publication of your Liberapay link in the readme of (at least) one of your repositories.
It would be fair to publish also a link to the Sailfish OS Liberapay team, as an expression of the will to join it.

Would it be ok for you @cypherpunks ? (I’ll get back to others about it, and in fact it’s close to what @meolic already suggested…)

Thanks a lot for your answer, you’re really helping.

I value your humility and hope you will come back soon proud of some new commits, releases or apps.

You give me more work but thanks for the OpenRepos tip.

Then, I hereby invite @lkraav to publish Liberapay links (like @cypherpunks ) in one of your Gists to be invited to the Liberapay team.

Liberapay link in the readme of (at least) one of your repositories

If you mean github/gitlab - librepay already does oauth2 to verify your ownership of them ( via Profile / Linked accounts ), wouldn’t it be redundant ?
Example:

Both should be already verified by liberapay itself and allowing it to check your profile. Github for sure is.

Verified ownership is exactly what we need, I was suggesting how Mastodon does it : with links.

IDK, do we want to include @Basil, master of OpenRepos, in our team?

Sure, he is part of the family. I would even say : he is part of the walls.

Love to see more deva joining. Now to find more people to donate for the cause.

I got myself donating here and to jolla directly. But I’d love to test software if there’s a need for it as well.
