Is this with IPv6 or IPv4?
After updating Sailfish OS to 5.0.0.55 Wireguard is now working for me via IPv6.
I had to edit my config file. As exported from the Fritz Box, it had comma separated entries for IPv4 and IPv6 and multiple DNS entries. As in the local network Iām using IPv4 addresses only, thatās fine for me.
With todayās update to 5.0.0.61 the config file could be imported, with multiple IP addresses.
Itās probably related to this PR linked from the February 20th Community News: Cycle WireGuard Address and AllowedIPs via list. by LaakkonenJussi Ā· Pull Request #16 Ā· sailfishos/nemo-qml-plugin-connectivity Ā· GitHub
I did not check whether this is now supported out of the box or via any plugin that I did install before.
P.S.: As of now, Wireguard support needs to be installed manually.

I can confirm that it works with SFOS 5.0.0.62, with maierās settings above (VPNC with PSK and Cisco Gateway Provider) and the myfritz address.
You need to set the field āIPsec-Bezeichnungā in the first screen of the settings to your fritz.box username. That was where I struggled. And the name is a little confusing, it would have been nice if it was named something like āIPsec with PSKā or so⦠then I would not have needed to look it up (but also would not have found this thread ).
Admittedly I have a fully functional IPv4 address, which is reachable from the outside. My ISP was so kind to switch that on for me a long time ago, when I asked for it. The myfritz address resolves to both, the IPv6 and IPv4 addresses (just confirmed using host
). I donāt know which one is actually used to establish the VPN connection.
