i use both Ownkeepass and KeepassDX, as the latter will automagically fill in the password and username fields in Android apps. I wish we had that function natively.
Since I’m the owner of a Sailfish device, I’ve been installing Linux on my laptop. Not easy, but fun anyway.
Keep going! I’d already setup an linux machine beforehand, but it wasonly when i started using my n900 properly that i made the full leap.
I got this glitch too once. The issue was that a timestamp was recorded at the beginning of a track, with no location. I unpacked, edited and repacked the track to fix it.
pkcon install nano zstd
cd ~/.local/share/org.kuri/tracks
ls -l
unzstd 2026-03-24T11:16:37Z-1.track-raw.toml.zstd
nano 2026-03-24T11:16:37Z-1.track-raw.toml
There I saw one section at the start that looked like this:
@mo: Are you sure that KBC Mobile complained about not having been installed from the play store? There is a patch for that particular problem: AAS Installer Patcher from openrepos. I remember the app complaining about a rooted device but it’s been a few months since I tried, so I’m not sure. Has anyone else tried this?
Well, not really ATM, but have used a Jolla phone in the past (still have it, along with my t-shirt “I am the first one” ) and have pre-ordered the J2.
Maybe create a dedicated thread in a more suitable Category? ( if there is one)
No one is mentioning messenger apps in here other than whatsapp. How do they work with Notifications if anyone know? (Especially Messenger and Signal is of interest to me)
Signal works, don’t know about messenger. Signal also has great native app called Whisperfish telegram has multiple native clients, I think Yottagram might be most feature complete. If you have any further questions you can head to right threads
