It is really great to see what you two did to make the app work again. As currently, my development platform does not bundle the app as I want, and therefore can not test my changes, I only could test the latest version from chum - and it works nicely. Many thanks

I did a clean pull of the current version and built that (after submodule init) in the sdk. So it should be possible with âzeroâ pain.
I donât know if you should worry about it. I donât think Iâll get a real account because I wouldnât use it very often. Iâm more of a âbuy stuff on bandcampâ person. And I really to listen to music mostly while either making it or in front of a record player

Tidal did adapt homepage and continue-listening section is gone.
as a result you will see on start an error after login message.
i will replace continue-listening with history-mixes.
everything else is working es expected.
am working on it

I discovered a service using Tidal as backend: https://music.binimum.org/ and the repo GitHub - uimaxbai/tidal-ui: Simple Tidal frontend. Also on tidal.squid.wtf and tidal.qqdl.site
Iâm wondering if it would be possible to add an option to Tidalplayer to switch to this service using this API GitHub - sachinsenal0x64/hifi: đ” Tidal Music integration for Subsonic/Jellyfin/Plexamp.

Useful for official phones like my Xperia 10 iii. For my FP4 with the port from Mal, inevitable. Thank you!!

Thanks also from my behalf. I dropped Spotify and will join to Tidal soon. My Jolla 2026 Batch #1 phone will be in my hand most propably on August and Tidal would be nice service to have as native.

I canât install tidalplayer from Chum. Is the Jolla repo down? I either get permission denied or timeout exceeded:

Iâve been testing Tidal on my JollaPhone 2026 over the last few days. Overall, it runs really well; music plays, and the app is stable. There were two or three instances where I couldnât launch the app, but everything was fine after a second attempt.
However, I do have one or two pieces of feedback, though I have no idea how best to implement them. If the connection drops (Bluetooth or mobile data), playback stops completely. This happens with Bluetooth in the car as well as with a headset.
Playback stops after a song or playlist finishes. It is likely impossible to implement a feature that offers further suggestions based on the last song played.

The official android tidal app lost all connectivity to Internet after latest update to version 2.208.0.100012.659
edit: Nevermind, my JP26 was in some weird state where some android apps were without connection while some worked. Reboot helped and now tidal works again.

I installed this app yesterday on a JP26. It works! But I have noticed something a little weird. I cannot have both this app and the sfos forum viewer app (by szopin) running at the same time. If I have the forum app running and start the tidal player app then it just switches to the forum app and vice versa.
Could it be that they share some kind of identifier token or something like that?

And there have been two workarounds for ages. Mine doesnât require root or terminal, just the ability to look at two screenshots.
