Have you tried connecting it via Bluetooth to your SFOS phone?

Also the PinePhone Pro has a keyboard case with battery, that would add some heft and perhaps help with the balance

It does help balance on the PP. Unfortunately for the PP, the clamshell design prevents the phone from being used as a handset in any but the most urgent and brief situations. If one could combine the best of the FXtec phone and the PPKBD that might be pretty sweet, or maybe just pretty heavy . . .

I don’t think there is – at least there isn’t anything on the supported devices list. But it might be worth asking around in the AsteroidOS matrix channel to see if anyone more deeply involved knows something I don’t.

i like the keyboard, very psion series 5.

It should be nice with a strong amp for headphones so i could take my home headphones with me on travels.

I would very much like a keyboard, but as several others have already said, the common problem with add-on keyboards is the weight ratio.

A keyboard with an extra battery, would be much more enjoyable due to the screen portion no longer being heavier than the keyboard (personally, I very much do not mind the extra thickness and weight - I use a purse for phones and keys, not pockets.

I really enjoy my Nothing Phone 1 with its Glyph interface on the back. The design is great. And I really appreciate the possibilities of it. I don’t like what happened with Nothing Phone 2 or 3. The NP1 was the best.

While it would be nice, it’s not something SFOS supports. Keyboard: OK - to a certain degree. Mouse? I believe it’s not supported. External/secondary screen or even window tiling? Definitely not a thing (yet).
Would be cool, though.

Mouse support exists, though the acceleration / pointer speed was extremely low last I tried (this was on my Mind2)

Just plug in a mousr and move it and there’s the pointer, and it’s indeed very slow on FP5 as well . . . also click and drag drags screen not selecting text. Bluetooth mice also work…for certain values of ‘work’.

My Bluetooth mouse (MX Anywhere 3) pairs but there seems to be no pointer.

Well, I guess my sample size is just one. A low cost MS dual bluetooth/dongle mouse.

i think that might be a Logitech thing. Connecting an MX Keys Keyboard through BT is possible, but i can’t type/navigate with it. I haven’t tried yet, but i bet if i use the Unifying receiver it will work properly.

there is some TOH copie: REETLE SmartInk I - An AI-powered E-Ink phone case with voice recording (Crowdfunding) - CNX Software

Great point, but for me it would bring more benefits if the New Jolla phone can be connected to usual USB-C dock. And the desktop mode over USB-C I would appreciate. But that should be without TOH available.
