i wish for the following:

usb 3.0
Xperia 10 iii has usb 3
the four and five do not.
i’d prefer not to regress from the features i have now in my 10iii.
no, there is an 8gb variant of the 10v
Thanks for letting me know. I solved the issue with the 8gb requirement but still my next phone will have at least 8gb of ram because pushing the limits of the hardware is part of the fun. That may be my next phone if sailfish works well on that model.
So I guess we will see the 10 VII around October as some rumors suggested?
More time for Jolla to work in the current devices I guess.
You should try it just for the experience anyway. Pixel 9 pro Fold is 20:9 aspect ratio folded so I’d say its wide enough.
More news on the 10 vii
It is leaking just like SFOS for Xperia 10V.
GSMArena review of the 10 vii:
6.1” 19.5:9 120Hz oled (yay!!!)
SD 6 Gen3 (4nm) chip
8GB/128GB (UFS)
IP65/68
5000Mah battery
Wifi 6 (yay!!!)
USB 3.0 (yay!!!)
£400 (not so yay, but substantial upgrades over previous gens, so meh!!!)
This indeed would be a further nice basis for a SailfishOS-Phone
in case sony manages to provide decent AOSP drivers
120Hz is unresolved issue on sfos. Maybe jolla would finally move their ass and fix it
In my place, Xperia 10 VII just launch, however Jolla still stuck at Xperia 10 V with limited features and function…..also it is difficult to find the old model
As someone who has 10vi ready for use as his future ex-sfos/wife i’d love to hope there was a future for it, but, frankly i’d have no objection to Jolla saying; “we’ve got to much on our plate right now, so we’re gonna skip a few generations and we’ll be back with the 10x”.
73mm wide. boooooooooo
I don’t think Jolla will ever support any more Xperia phones, now that they can have hardware that they more or less control.
That’s a shame, because the 10 VII is a nice phone. Just a bit tight on memory.
let’s find out:
seems like the 10vii is quite well received:
