Not on my device, I basically have it disabled. The only time I am asked to input my lock code is if I turn the device off and on again (automatic locking: not in use)
I keep the lock code on my device.
When I repalced
/usr/share/applications/jolla-camera-lockscreen.desktop
by
/usr/share/applications/harbour-advanced-camera.desktopreplaced
in the qml file, I was able to launch AC instead of stock camera from lock-screen without entering the lock code.
(But unfortunately, as said by @klarre, AC would not start any more the normal way from the app grid)
After a few days with the one-liner I have seen that my battery drains much faster. So today I reverted the change and the battery is back to its normal discharge rate. Does this make sense to anyone?
