Enter security code per USB Device aka keyboard is not possible due to a bug where keystrokes are recognized twice.

Encryption enabled

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Boot device
  2. Use external Keyboard
  3. Enter code (numerical).

EXPECTED RESULT:

Entered code should appear

ACTUAL RESULT:

No code appears

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

When changing to onscreen qwerty keyboard, there is also no input possible.
BUT activating the eye icon (which shows you the entered characters), input is possible.

All characters are displayed twice.

BUT the shown characters are NOT the ones entered.
I will check the behavior with an actual keyboard on Monday when I can get hold of an USB-C adapter.

I’m not 100% sure to understand your bug report, but for me it sounds like a feature request as this function is unavailable.

There were the same situation with Yubikey. See this topic.

I had the same initial impression.
The explanation of why it is a bug report and not a feature request is hidden way down in the Additional Information:

That info should have gone front and center ideally…
And title/description is really lacking on the problem part, i.e. “is not possible”. Maybe for some languages that is implied by it being a bug report, but that is definitely not universal…

Onlykey acts as a regular keyboard.
It enters regular keystrokes like a keepass.
