Screenshot with vol+/- and from CLI causes reboot (solved)

DESCRIPTION:

Using the volume rockers pressed at the same time OR running:
dbus-send --session --print-reply

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Open any application,
  2. press the vol+/vol-

EXPECTED RESULT:

A screenshot.

ACTUAL RESULT:

reboot

At least on the XZ2c that i use i don’t see that.

I think it’s probably got something to do with the volla build.

Just to see if It was possible by other means (yeah, right!) I compiled harbour-screenshot for 4.2 and did

echo '/usr/bin/harbour-screenshot,r' > /usr/share/mapplauncherd/privileges.d/harbour-screenshot

Ah, appending ‘,r’ works, but sadly reboots phone with 4.2.

Is this issue still valid @poetaster? If it is, would you object to me moving it to the “Devices” section, since if I’ve understood correctly this relates to the GS290 port specifically, rather than a bug in the OS?

This is a closed issue. Was resolved with 4.4.0.64.
