FP4 and FP5 are using normal Sailfish OS way for adaptation, except that those use packaged system/vendor etc partition content similar to how official devices do it.

Thanks for clarifying! I was puzzling on about why certain errors seemed to be common. But, those errors (camera/codec related) are probably related to proprietary blobs?

LuneOS uses the minimal Android System Image that is created using Halium which in turn is based upon CyanogenMod / LineageOS.
