Chill, AI will fix it
hello,
i try to flash the binarisâŚ
$ fastboot flash oem_a SW_binaries_for_Xperia_Android_13_5.4_v4b_zambezi.img
Sending âoem_aâ (2097152 KB) FAILED (remote: 'Requested download size is more than max allowed
')
fastboot: error: Command failed
what can i do?
Are you using USB3-port? Try with USB2-port or if there isnât any available, check if you can change the mode in BIOS or try to reconnect the phone in fastboot-mode to the PC and be ready with the commands so the connection doesnât go to sleep mode.
I had to add -S 512K
to make it go slower but to make it work (sourced from somewhere here on the forum). Maybe it helps you?
Does someone use v6 blobs?
No, v6 is causing consistent hangup within 5-10 minutes from boot, useless unless jolla decide to work on it and fix the cause of it, but not sure if it fixes anything vs v4 in sfos case, let them cook
Thank you for your answer. I have to wait about some fixes. Using Xperia 10V v4b it is working realy fast.
I also flashed the v4b blob. Everything went fine, the battery percentage displays correctly, but my keyboard disappeared.
At system startup, when entering the first security code, I can switch between the numeric and full keyboard, and it works fine.
However, when unlocking the screen later, only the PIN entry option is available, and within the system, the keyboard doesnât show up anywhere itâs supposed to.
It only appears in the terminal, but I guess thatâs a different keyboard.
Is there any fix for this?
Were u using okboard ?
Yes, it was installed, along with some other keyboards too. Now Iâve deleted all of them, only the default one is left. Iâve restarted several times, but it still doesnât want to work. Should I reflash everything from scratch?
no idea, when i had an issue with okboard i did unappy it first then uninstalled it
I reinstalled Okboard, and now itâs working properly. Thanks for the help!
Question for people testing v4b blobs in this thread: does headphone jack works?
I just quickly tested a few earphones â four of them couldnât play through the connector, but when connected via Bluetooth, it paired stably and played during the short test, both in the native and Android app, using both Wi-Fi and mobile internet. But this was just a brief test.
