To be part of CBeta you need to be selected and approved by Jolla. And as you are given access to not-yet-released, not-public stuff, you need to sign a non- disclosure agreement (NDA) with them.

Which is so weird considering in the Gaming world, “Closed Beta” and “Early Access” are very well understood terms…
Except here we have Community Beta, sometimes called Closed beta for clarity(?)

CBeta group isn’t something you can opt in to. You are invited by Jolla if you are considered worthy, which seems to be reserved for some other developers.
I might ad that it’s how it should be!
