According to this table O2 SMS works.
you can change that with the mce tool
It’s no biggy for me as such, I can always use the digital sliders on the Top Menu. I half mentioned it only because someone above was having problem with getting sound out from the player apps, just in case the issues might be connected.
Now MicroG works quite well and I could install Teams and its dependency on MS Intune without any problem!
Really easy! Cool! No hack needed!
Btw: Have you experience with banking apps on C2? Are they working without fingerprint sensor?
It really depends on the banking apps themselves.
Updated Sony Xperia 10 II to Tampella 5.0.0.55 → Whisperfish can send messages but does not receive them any more, no matter which internet data option is selected.
Is there the possibility to start the browser automatically in private mode?I didn’t find anything in the About Config…
set “browser.privatebrowsing.autostart” to on/true.
no effect on xperia 10v…
No problem here (same config)…
Edit : sorry finally, same issue (Whisperfish can’t send messages on 10ii SFOS 5.0 55)
Nope, i have sometimes issues with to switch to bluetooth. But sound is there always
One thing I noticed after the update is that the boot process seems to take longer. Especially the time interval between entering the encryption code and the PIN of the SIM.
In the 4.x it took no longer than 5 seconds, whereas now it takes 15 seconds or more.
Anybody noticed that? Is there a logical reason for it?
What did I miss, or is there something fishy with my C2?
Checking Coderus sailversion site, it says, 5.0.0.58 - Tampella - 07 Feb 2025.
My C2 phone says updated on 5.0.0.55, so… ?
My guess: Bug hammering will resume on Monday.
What? Did they contract some snail postal service?
Yes, I noticed that, too (Xperia 10 III). I thought that it might just be me thinking it took longer, but it seems that there are at least two people thinking this which could mean that it really takes longer.
There was a message in telegram that the last update was not completely uploaded yesterday afternoon. And since motivation is low on a friday plus you want to clock out on time
I have an Android app (ÖBB Tickets), that starts the SailfishOS’ browser for login. But then, nothing happens.
Any idea how to fix it?
It is really, noticealbly longer than before: between confirming the storage decryption key and the usual unlock screen.
Change default browser to Android Firefox or any other android browser. Oauth doesn’t work with the default browser because of Android Apps Isolation (Sailjail).
