[Release notes] Finlayson 5.2.0.20 - Jolla Phone first

Update went fine.
Had to reinstall patchmanager to get the patches working/active again.
Only thing is screen goes/is turned off when I have to enter both pins. Pressing the power button turns the screen on again.
The screen stays on when I have to enter the pin for my sim.

Reinstalling patchmanager is easiest with the Terminal:

zypper in --force patchmanager

Thanks all! ā€œReinstalling PatchManagerā€ and ā€œDisabling strict version checkingā€ works.

Update went flawless. Yet the GPS problem persists with updated MicroG

Root space issue again. Definitely / should be increased or recovery image provided.

Same for me. I was able to resolve this ā€˜not sufficient space on root’ issue, but it is annoying and should not be an issue with this device…

Oooo bejbƩ, an update again
Now’s the time to try again if Citroen and Jolla can talk nicely with each others

Nice. Also happy the Symbiosis changes didn’t break my Inari Blue Notifier app.

Update went fine. However, I experienced the same display is off issue as earlier. Basically the top led was on as if the device was booting, but the display never showed anything because it was off. Tapping power button waked it up to the lock-screen though.

All good updating.

Bluetooth works now to connect the Suunto android application to my Vertical watch - which previously didn’t.

Still issues with the Sennheiser android application not managing to pair to a Wireless Momentum 4 headphones - I think the app tries to use the Android OS’s pairing application, which doesn’t work on the Jolla Phone.

Unfortunately, Bluetooth connection to the Nissan Leaf still disconnects after only a few seconds.

Happy with the mobile data working again on AAS with ipv6 enabled (on KPN network). The update went flawlessly. Only the data usage counters of ipv6 do not work yet: [5.2] Mobile-data usage counter shows 0 for IPv6-only mobile traffic . Nice to see that privacy extensions are now also supported on ipv6.

Ad for Weather app is back again (already installed and uninstalled with .17 and .18). :frowning:

The upgrade process itself went perfectly fine. However, I’m still experiencing a nasty battery drain when AAS is enabled (I noticed it with .18 already).

Garbage on minimised android apps is gone.
All good so far.

One black screen crash and one shutdown since update…

The update went smoothly. Apps seem to be starting a bit faster and some of the android apps seem a bit faster.
