THE most important thing: that i do not lose this recording. Is it possible? What should i do? Tap the file and record on other device or what?

tapping is one thing, “long press” another.
With “long press” you get option for action, one of them is “delete”.
That’s all…

Yes, it is mentioned on the first line of the text I quoted. Is enabling the developer mode problem on C2?.

So i have to enable developer mode to make it more accessible? It won’t play (or will even delete?) if i do not put on the developer mode?

You need dev-mode if you want to access the file itself (to for example to make copy of it as a file in some other place). If you want to make re-record with another device, then you don’t need dev-mode.

What about recording a second call?
Call your phone, record, hang up (terminate the call), play this new record to get confident…

I don’t understand? I have a phone call recorded on this C2. I want to dig it up. Or at least playback.

What do you mean “hang up” ?

@amaretzek is suggesting that you make a second recording by calling yourself and testing your planned actions with that dummy recording before doing anything with the important recording.

I think the chances of something bad happening with just a single tap are really really really low.

Personally I would take the file and copy it across my different devices, memory cards, USB-sticks and cloud if my life depended on that file.

No. I cannot take any risks. Simply: will this recorded phone call, play, (and not delete or corrupt) if i just tap it? To make it play and possibly record on like laptop?

Can’t promise it will play, but chances of deletion or corruption are astronomically low (but never zero).
